What's On Offer?
 
We are looking for a SAP Customer Solutions Architect to join on a permanent basis our SAP Practice in Melbourne. The successful candidate is expected to build strong relationships and solid reputations within the industry and markets they serve. The SAP Customer Solution Architect is a bridge between Fujitsu's Sales function and LoB Delivery. Aside from IP and solution development and sales support, the SAP Customer Solution Architect would also maintain effective relationships with key Customers and by doing so support Sales team.
 
Responsibilities
  • Works with Customers to understand their business strategy and develop IT strategies and architecture for significant areas of their business.
  • Communicates the impact of emerging technologies on Customer and Fujitsu business to senior level Customers and Fujitsu businesses.
  • Advises the Customer on information and business technology strategy with the goal of enhancing the overall success of the Customers Business Enterprise.
  • Comfortable Conducting strategic level workshops.
  • Able to determine the approach to whole classes of business, leading and influencing others in the development of new offerings.
  • Leads pre-contract activities such as estimating and sizing, costing and budgeting, risk assessment, proposal preparation, and proposal review and contract negotiations. Takes an active role in the new business process to ensure that the proposed service solution is compelling, optimised and deliverable.
  • Accountable for presales of strategic highly complex & large contracts.
  • Communicates and works effectively with colleagues, subordinates, Customers, sales and external consultant staff to give advice on the scope and options of solutions, presents Fujitsu in a favourable light, ensures the client is aware of relevant Fujitsu services and secures further business.
  • Works with senior colleagues and the Customer to identify, analyse, document and apply the detailed requirements and scope of the system to ensure that there is a common understanding across all parties.
  • Shares knowledge with colleagues and makes useful additions to the Fujitsu Services knowledge base through Capability Statements, Solution Documentation and WhitePapers.
  • In conjunction with the Customer (typically at Director/Board level) stimulates & defines requirements for new service as part of an IT Service Strategy. Ensures such services are professionally introduced & accepted Facilitating growth and penetration of the Customers contract.
  • Responsible for development and execution of Personal Learning Plan.
 
What Do We Want From You?
 
Experience/Qualifications
 
  • Degree preferably in computer studies or business related area or equivalent.
  • Around 10 years' experience of IT Industry with SAP Solution Suite.
  • In depth knowledge of the wider field of SAP systems
  • Strong functional technical skills
  • Proven experience in delivery managemnt and customer engagement 
  • Understanding of team building techniques can identify conflicts, behavioural problems; and provide constructive timely input into the review of performance.
  • An effective team leader with a strong desire to succeed, who is seen as a role model, knows limitations and seeks support accordingly.
  • Understanding of corporate processes, policy and practice.
  • Understanding of the concepts, methodologies, techniques and tools of project delivery.
  • Familiar with other available methodologies, techniques and related industry standards of project delivery.
  • Experienced in an implementation team leadership role, with a history of achievement, and a high level of professional skill. 
  • Experienced with staff supervision and leadership, managing and motivating teams of consultants, implementation sizing and estimating, planning and scheduling.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Personable, conscientious, able to cope with pressure, multi task and to prioritise work.
  • Able to quickly understand a client's business and operational processes.  Presents a positive, professional image and their ability is recognised by clients.
  • Able to provide feedback on the re-usability of content, can locate pertinent knowledge objects and is aware of other sources of knowledge within Enterprise Solutions (White Papers, SME's).
