We’re a market leading, highly aspirational technology business with a very clear purpose. This year we’ll deliver around 1.8Bn, yes Bn, messages for our customers. They’ll leverage our class leading technology to communicate with their customers or staff through a highly ubiquitous channel.

So we’re looking for someone to join our tight knit team to help improve the functionality of some of our sites. We’re bringing this function back in-house, so we can better manage and optimise the activity we’re seeing through our sites.

As our new Web Developer, not only do you get the fancy title, but you’ll also get your own desk, because we’re pretty progressive here. The best thing about that desk is that it’ll be with the rest of the Marketing team, so you’ll join a team of 9 who are all figuring out ways to increase the sophistication of our marketing efforts and helping us become a global player. We’re a super close team and we have a lot of fun together. We promise to learn from you and help you develop new and existing personal and professional skills.

With around 130 staff here, Melbourne is our HQ but we’ve got offices in San Francisco, London, Sydney, Hanoi and Auckland aswell. So, we’ve made a start, but you’ll help us expand even further. As we better refine our Site optimisation, there’s opportunity for your trajectory to take off aswell; who knows, we may well extend the contract or talk to you about coming on board permanently.

We think that experience with a CMS is going to be beneficial, in fact if you’ve used launched pages with Hubspot previously that’d be even better. If you’ve had experience building sites with Wordpress and understand the  functionality involved with a CMS then you’ll be in a great place.

To assume the lofty heights of our Web Developer you should probably have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent. You’re absolutely going to need excellent time management, relationship building and prioritising skills, along with a solid attention to detail. You’ll need to be one of those ridiculously organised types, and be able to juggle a bit (ok, a lot) of “stuff” from time to time (ok, most of the time). This is an ideal role for a solid junior/mid-weight developer who’s been sprinkling low fat, high fibre CSS/HTML/.JS skills through the internet for a while now.
