I am currently working with a large ICT vendor based in Canberra.
They are seeking an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect to join the team on an initial 6 month contract.
The successful candidate will be joining a high performing team of security experts as a Enterprise Solution architect.
This is day rate contract paying between $900-1200 per day depending on experience.
This is a projects based role and the successful candidate will have a demonstrated experience working in a consulting capacity.
The purpose of the role is to help produce the overarching network security architecture and security segmentation strategy to define the policy to be applied to the customer’s Software Defined Access solution.
This deliverable is core to secure consolidation and rationalisation of the customer’s network environment and lays out policy and architectural patterns for the SDA architecture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Infrastructure Architecture skills and experience (Network routing and switching, Security, LAN/WAN, NMS, Client/Server computing etc).
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Operating Systems (desktop, server, thin client), Active Directory etc.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Visio to prepare solutions architecture and network design patterns.
- Federal Government experience in relation ISM accreditation and compliance, ASD Top 37 etc.
- TOGAF Enterprise Architecture knowledge, ability to align business objectives to IT capabilities.
- Experience with systems engineering frameworks.
Desirable - Computer Science / IT / Engineering degree.
