Level 3 Senior Network Engineer
Brisbane South – Managed Service Provider
 
Salary will be based on previous experience with overtime opportunities and performance bonuses available.

My client is a leading IT service provider based on the south side of Brisbane. They are passionate about delivering excellence in technology solutions, their dedicated team places client needs at the heart of all they do. They are currently seeking a senior remote support engineer to join their rapidly expanding team.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar industry role and enjoy working with clients in a variety of industries.
 
The Role

• Be an escalation point for remote technical support and problem resolution
• Support a diverse range of platforms and technologies
• Project management of large projects
• Mentoring of junior staff

Experience Required

To be successful in this role you must have experience in some or all of the following technologies:

• MS Server Technologies – including Server 2008/2012; SBS; AD; DFS; DHCP; DNS; TS/RDS
• VMware and HyperV – setup and administration
• Exchange 2007-2013 and Office 365 – migrations, installation and management
• Backup and Recovery – Veeam, ShadowProtect, BackupAssist
• Desktop support – OS and business applications

Desirable

Experience in the following areas is advantageous:

• SQL
• SharePoint
• Public Cloud
