Due to an exciting period of growth, an excellent new opportunity has become available for an IT Procurement Contract Administrator. Based in our central Chatswood office, and reporting to ICT Contracts Manager, this role is to support Vendor management of Ventia’s group wide ICT functions.

About the Role

The role requires a sound working knowledge of Public and Private Cloud Services, Telecommunications, Software licensing and maintenance of IT asset management. Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Supporting the ICT Contracts Manager, the role requires regular and detailed Vendor analysis and performance reporting. This includes Identifying vendor contracts which are due for negotiation and managing the ICT Contracts Register.
  • Managing all incoming invoices and raising Purchase orders to match. Query and formally dispute incorrectly prepared invoices in a timely manner with Vendors.  
  • Reviewing of vendor terms and implement standard pricing. Including implementing and updating online catalogues with Vendors.
  • Responsibility of end to end purchase and processing of equipment, software requests and inventory needs. Track order through “Service Now” service desk and create purchase order as required to ensure requests are delivered within SLAs.
  • Responsibilty for procurement tracking, status updates and provides regular reporting to management.
  • Maintaining IT inventory part and assets checklists and coordinates with management on hardware and software purchases.
  • Management of Software Licensing including renewals software maintenance agreements.
  • Utilising Ventia and Vendors ICT systems to validate both Contract and invoicing information prior to processing invoices for approval.
  • Maintaining documentation for all procurement processes, procedures and policies for use by business and IT staff.

About You

To be successful in this role you will hold a Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field and be able to demonstrate

  • Ability to perform the required tasks in past roles for 3+ years 
  • Good understanding of the Procurement life cycle
  • Broad knowledge of IT Cloud Services, hardware, software and services.
  • Good understanding of contract law and the Trade Practices Act
  • Advanced level of communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong problem solving & analytical skills
  • Project management skills
