We have a broad product portfolio aimed at Building Automation and Control providers and plant automation specialists. Clients range from large mechanical and electrical contractors to small specialist installers.
Our flagship product is PlantPRO, a chiller plant optimisation solution that breaks new ground in the control, management and optimisation of chiller plants around the world.

About the role
Conserve It is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical and Control Software Engineer who has real passion for technology and crafting creative solutions. You will possess at minimum a Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronic, Software or Mechatronics engineering with preferably further training such as a Masters degree or PhD.
You have core skills and practical experience in building control systems using distributed network technologies and software systems. You will have had experience in Research and Design of new and ground-breaking control algorithms using the latest techniques.
Furthermore, you:
· can write clean and reliable software
· are a confident coder who knows your way around Object Oriented languages
· can apply design patterns where it makes sense to solve problems
· and can create original and elegant designs of your own and implement them
Your time will be spent modelling, crafting, coding and testing the solutions to real world problems. We are proactive in developing and deploying products to clients and you would be involved in creating solutions for real world applications from commencement.
This role will be well suited to you if you are confident in building advanced and complex software and are looking for a new challenge.

Skills and experience
Core skills:
· Proven experience in Object Oriented Design and Development
· Significant programming experience and/or skills in Java, C++ or C
· Demonstrable experience using Matlab and Simulink
· Understanding and experience of Fuzzy Logic and Neural Networks
· Ability to translate a design or mathematical model into code
· Modelling of control systems using standard mathematical techniques
· Analysis and troubleshooting of control systems
· Design of feedback based control and optimisation systems
· Perform analysis of control system performance using frequency response techniques
· Strong experience in working with software teams
· Working knowledge of Test Driven Development techniques
Desirable skills and experience:
· Embedded Software development experience or skills
· Understanding of the hardware/software interface
· Experience with RS485 and RS232 protocols
· Control systems and instrumentation
· Chiller Plant Control
· Building Management Systems
· Experience with industry standard communications protocols such as Modus and BACnet as examples
