The Lead Mobile Developer will lead and coach a team of Android and iOS Developers to enable delivering transformational customer experiences that meet and exceed customer expectations. You'll be responsible for the development our mobile native team, supporting them with coding, analysis, and design of digital solutions, while contributing to testing, continuous integration and deployment activities. 

The role will be molded around the Lead Developers skill-set; if you're a stronger iOS Engineer, you'll help ship updates to the iOS App and lean on your Android Principal for tech guidance. Vice-versa if you're a Lead Android Engineer. If you can do both - great - but that's not the expectation.
 
The successful candidate will possess the following experience & be comfortable in a role with the responsibilities including, but not limited to:  

• An experienced Development Lead from a mobile background (either iOS or Android)
• Technical expertise in either iOS (Objective-C / Swift) or Android (Java / Kotlin) Engineering
• Ability to coach and grow a team of mobile developers, thriving on growing a team's output & capabilities
• A demonstrated ability to deliver quality focused business outcomes
• Experiencing engaging & managing vendor partners
• An understanding of current development trends and a willingness to adapt to use the right technology to solve team challenges
• A person who has their own unique experiences, and shares learning to enhance the team's delivery capability
• An ability to engage with key business stakeholders to ensure teams focus on solving the right problem in the right way
• An individual with experience working with others on their career growth

You'll be the key technical focal point for the team, leading by example, and enabling team success through demonstrating best practice.
