We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to provide BAU support for our Government Client. Joining us on an initial 6 weeks contract and based in Brisbane CBD. 
 
This will include:

• Senior Network Engineer working as part of a team providing 3 level support and consulting guidance around a number of initiatives including high level Cisco integration, an SDWAN Pilot, a Riverbed POC, amoung other projects, all keeping in mind the security elements of an infrastructure network (which includes cloud elements, remote and co-location Data centres.
• The role involves significant vendor management from a product and services perspective.
• Interfacing between the infrastructure, communications and desktop teams.
• This is a well-documented environment

 

To secure and succeed in this contract, you will need:

• Cisco
• Security Products – zScaler, Palo Alto
• Riverbed
• SDWAN
• Cloud (Azure and AWS)
• Solid skills around infrastructure
• Vendor Management
• Attention to detail
• Multiple years’ experience in the above technologies, showing increased skills and responsibility.
• Initiative and self-starter approach is key, however.
