The Autofile system provides is a complete end-to-end accounts payable automation process.
The Autofile system is able to create purchase orders, track spending approvals, receive goods, capture Invoices, extract data and automatically push exception invoices for approval, automatically push approved invoice data into a range of applications.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Senior Programmer, to be based in our Newcastle office.
The purpose of the role is to enhance the existing software, develop and maintain new software including new APIs with a small team of support programmers.
The successful candidate will be a passionate and an inventive all-rounder with a hands-on attitude who can work well in a small team.
The Senior Programmer Responsibilities would include:
- Design new software applications.
- Conceive, experiment with, and present architectural approaches for software applications.
- Problem-solve and implement solutions, whilst minimising disruption to production systems.
- Understand database technologies and be able to incorporate them into client applications.
- Understand web-server technologies and be able incorporate them into client applications.
- Follow a software life cycle for developing, building, testing and documenting of applications.
We are looking for a person who is excited by technology and wants to take ownership of the above responsibilities.
Previous experience working cooperatively within a small team environment and working productively alone, are needed.
The successful candidate will require excellent knowledge of ASP .NET using C#, and strong experience using JavaScript, CSS, HTML and Microsoft SQL.
Fluency in written and spoken English is required for producing and supporting technical documentation for the business.
Ideally the person will have a minimum qualification of Bachelor of Computer Science (or similar) and have strong experience with problem solving, debugging, project estimation and use of business intelligence / visualisation tools.
