Axiom Business Systems is an export company whose software development and support is based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Our solution is based in the Sage platform. Axiom continues to experience significant growth in the demand for its services and is looking for an Application Support team member to join our vibrant consulting team.  The role involves supporting customers, as well as Axiom's network and software.  We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and we are looking for a customer focused and results driven team member to join us in the expansion of our consulting team.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Strong verbal and sound written communication skills
  • A customer centric focus to the provision of services
  • Extensive end user support experience
  • Demonstrated experience of taking personal responsibility for executing a process driven service using key controls to implement effective systems change management
  • Good knowledge of network technologies such as TCP/IP, SNMP, SMTP, DHCP, DNS, VPN's, Firewalls, subnets and routing
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining hardware and software systems
  • Demonstrated experience managing and innovating service delivery, process, procedures and documentation
  • Manage, systemise and provide application support
  • Strong IT troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Systemic approach to providing solutions
  • Strong systems configuration and support skills
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining backup systems

Skills in any of the following areas would be advantageous:

  • Web Development
  • Sage CRM and Sage 300 ERP
  • SQL Administration experience
  • Software Testing
  • Quality Systems Design & Management
