Our client is a highly established global vendor who are currently experiencing a successful growth period. Due to this success, they are looking to hire an experienced and professional Sales Engineer to join their Sydney based team.
Working in a Pre-sales capacity, you will provide technical assistance to the sales team for all of the company products during the sales process. Duties will include:
- Preparing standard and custom demonstrations with Account Managers
- Maintain a knowledge of products, workflow systems and content repositories.
- Respond to RFI/P/Q's to in efficient and timely manner
- Prepare Professional Services for product installations
- Work with channel partners and resellers on the technical aspects of the product offering
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- A minimum of 7 years of commercial experience working in a pre-sales or solution consultant role
- A degree in computer science or information technology
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Experience in the preparation and delivery of customer product demonstrations
- Strong business analysis skills
- Some technical knowledge of .Net and / or Java
- The ability to travel
- Experience working with enterprise software (BPM / ECM / CRM etc)
