Business Analyst/Consultant - Cyber Security

With the ever-increasing threat and damage to organisations to be caused by Cyber-attacks, and the potential threats, both domestically and internationally, this Australian financial services Icon are looking for a talented Senior Business Analyst – Cyber Security – to help understand and lead the business in the defence of these threats.
  
The role will see you facilitating workshops to help understand the threats and then define and implement policies, practices and tools to ensure the business is adequately prepared.
  
Due to the nature of the role, it will see you working very closely with all of the senior and key stakeholders across the business including technical teams so you ability to communicate across all levels is essential.

• 3+ Years’ experience working as a Business Analyst or Consultant within the Cyber Security space
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and industry standards from a business, technical and operational perspective, e.g. NIST framework
• Demonstrated experience of and knowledge in a broad range of IT security disciplines (network, tools, etc.)
• A strong understanding of the following areas;
  • SOC compliance
  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Operational/Disaster Recovery
• Experience with data privacy and data leakage prevention
• Extensive experience in facilitating project inception and requirement workshops with multiple stakeholders
• Financial Services experience is preferred but not essential
