Our client, an international manufacturing and distribution company, requires a Systems Analyst to join its team in yje Melbourne Northeastern suburbs..
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the maintenance and security of the ERP system to meet the ongoing and changing requirements of the business, including the scoping, management and implementation of specific system upgrades and improvements and the development of new reports utilizing Cognos. This will include the following:
- Provide expert advice on Pronto / ERP capability to manage future needs.
- Maintain, administer and upkeep Pronto / ERP - security, moves adds, changes, whole of system administration.
- Document in detail the scope of user and company requirements. Provide end to end business analysis, Undertake process review and documentation.
- Ensure applications meet business requirements/ value and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements and identify and resolve application issues.
- Develop and test system processes. Manage the elements of change. Develop and implement reporting solutions. Undertake ad hoc projects.
- Develop training material and documentation to increase user independence and report writing, Facilitate workshops.
- Provide reports in Cognos (but not limit to Cognos) including statutory and management reporting. Include Data analysis as well.
Required Skills & Experience
- Formal Pronto / ERP and Cognos Training.
- Commerce or IT qualification.
- 3 years minimum as Pronto Analyst in a similar role.
- Excellent working knowledge of all Pronto modules (in partucular inventory, project control and CRM), database structures and security settings.
- Advanced Cognos skills including evidence of training.
- Business Analysis (Scoping projects, development of business case).
- Project Management skills.
- An understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
- Experience is required with ERP applications (preferably Pronto), CRM (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft products.
Desirable skills:
- Ability to converse in Mandarin would be an added bonus (but by no means mandatory).
A good salary package in the range of $90,000 - $100,000 p.a. plus super (plus benefits) will be negotiated for the right candidate.
