Data Governance Manager – Major Enterprise Data Projects – Multiple Openings
 
The main purpose of the role will be to lead data management and data governance activities ensuring data best practice, ensuring compliance with regulations.
 
The person appointed will develop, manage and maintain data standards, policies and ensure data tools and templates are fit for business needs and comply with regulations. They will also be the point of contact for Group data-related tasks, queries around data models, and for leading solution-based discussions to mitigate risks and resolve issues.
 
This is a business focused role, with multiple touch points and will require someone with strong investigative skills and a pragmatic approach to solving data centric issues.  

Applicants will require 5+ years data analysis or data governance experience, gained specifically within Financial Services, along with an understanding of data modelling practices, (E/R, Relational, Data Semantic, Conceptual), modelling tools such as Visual Paradigm, Erwin, RSA etc and business process modelling experience to include data querying in SQL or Oracle databases.

It is likely that the successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and have experience working with the most senior of stakeholders in a highly-matrixed environment.
