A position has been opened for a Senior Agile Automation Tester/Lead with a highly regarded and rapidly expanding organisation based in Brisbane.  

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leader and make an impact on multiple large scale digital transformation projects! 

Your day to day activities will look like this; 

• Review and provide input into acceptance criteria, create and maintain automation test frameworks, and perform non-functional testing within agile teams.
• Compile, maintain and review test documentation.
• Monitor and report on testing coverage and status.
• Undertake effective analysis and efficient reporting of identified issues, and help to drive the resolution of those issues.
• Provide system support by investigating, liaising and advising on problems reported by internal and external customers.
• Support performance/load test activities and regulator submission tasks as required.
• Develop, document, maintain, comply, contribute to and champion process improvements.
• Configure, document and maintain test environments.
• Provide training in test processes, applications and automation tools.

 

To be successful, you’ll need to have the following skills and experience; 

• 4+ years’ experience within an Automation Test Analyst role
• ATDD processes (Automation Test Driven Development) or other testing techniques
• Experienced with Agile methodologies
• Instrument automation test cases with the developers.
  • Understanding and using right tools (as an example - Blink, SpecFlow, Selenium). 
  • Ability to create and maintain your own deployment pipeline (Team city or similar).
  • Experience of web application testing across multiple browsers & multiple mobile devices specifically for scenarios that involve compatibility issues.
  • Understand and review unit testing.
  • Identify the performance test need and test accordingly.
• Understand and execute exploratory testing.
• Understand Allure reports using it as a test summary report.
• Develop Test Plan detailing automation strategy and execution cycles.
• The ability to work effectively in teams and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Provide leadership and drive the automation process
