Who you will be working for:
An amazing Data Insights firms that specialise in maximising profits for the biggest players in the retail industry. They are constantly innovating and working with the most cutting edge technology to deliver world class insights to their clients.
They Build and Develop their own products using Microsoft and Open Source technology.
About the Role:
The client is looking for a DevOps to works across array of technologies to build, design and support cloud based environments and advise internal teams on Cloud / DevOps Adoption Strategies.
What you will be doing:
- Building Cloud Based Solutions on Azure
- Writing and Running Infrastructure as Code Scripts
- Build Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Pipelines
- Consult with the Developer and Engineering Teams on Cloud and DevOps Adoption Strategies
- Plan and Investigate ways to Optimize and Enhance Processes
Technical Skills (Ideally 70%)
- Building Solutions on Azure
- Strong Infrastructure as a Code Skills
- CI / CD Tools (Octopus / Jenkins / Teamcity / Bamboo / Any Other)
- Configuration Management ( Puppet / Chef / Ansible / Any Other )
- Atlassian product experience will be highly regarded (JIRA, Confluence etc)
- Strong Scripting Skills (Ideally PowerShell or Bash or Python)
- Windows System Admin Skills
- Networking Skills (Virtual Networking on the cloud) Highly Regarded
- Any Database skills (MS SQL Server) Highly Regarded
- Any Google Cloud Experience will be highly Regarded but Not Essential
