Security Architect role within the Enterprise Architecture team.

Your new company

You will be working in a department that brings together people, policies and programs to support the Australian Government’s initiatives including access to quality and affordable early child care and childhood education, school education, higher education, vocational education and training, international education and research.

Your new role

This is a Security Architect role within the Enterprise Architecture team, you will be responsible for determining security requirements, creating security designs that support project outcomes and protect Departmental resources and producing security risk management plans and threat assessments

What you'll need to succeed

• Be familiar with IRAP within the government environment (including ISM, SSP SRMP, TRAs and SOPs)
• Experienced in developing a target security architecture for multiple systems and platforms
• Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorisation and security in the context of network, application, API and data security
• Experienced in Risk Management (Security Risks, Threat Modelling, Security Policies, Vulnerability Management)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
