We currently have an opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join our team in North Sydney on a short term contract. Immediate start required.
The primary responsibility of this role will be to assess and seek to contain contract risk from customer and supplier transactions on a major IT services engagement. The major expected results are that bid submissions include a commercially appropriate response to customer contract risk; and that negotiated contracts are executed on terms that protect NECA as best as can be managed in light of the business’ imperatives.
Key Skills / Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ commercial / contract management experience
- Line of business experience in the IT & telco industries
- Marketing, sales and/or commercial experience in order to identify and understand the commercial imperatives
- Solid understanding of IT principles and commercial practices including ITIL and IACCM implementation
- Demonstrated experience commercial governance and large scale service variation management on IT service contracts
- Working knowledge of basic finance and accounting principles
