Your Opportunity

As our brilliant Telecommunications Delivery Manager, you will manage the provision of effective Telecommunications services across Mission Australia including vendor management, performance management and Service Level Management for all Telecommunications services including SD WAN, telephony, mobile including mobile data and voice.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead and manage the effective delivery of all telecommunications services delivered as per customer SLAs and work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure optimal operation
  • Manage the Site Care function ensuring that sites are enabled promptly and effectively with the appropriate equipment
  • Provide proactive assistance to the business to help understand needs and address shortfalls and to educate people on how to get the most from our telecommunications investments
  • Lead and mentor team members to deliver quality telecommunications support to Mission Australia users

Requirements for Success

  • Relevant academic qualifications (technical and/or business related) and ITIL certified or have had exposure
  •  Strong telecommunications experience preferably including VOIP and newer technologies, SD WAN would be ideal
  • Effective communication and active listening skills, demonstrating the ability to present information, decisions and reasons confidently, clearly and concisely selecting the appropriate mediums
  • Strong vendor management experience with contracts > $2m with demonstrable skills in cost management and cost management strategies
  • Demonstrated experience in similar role, including strong telecommunications background with experience in delivery and vendor management
