We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Analyst to support the end-to-end project coordination of IT systems changes, the establishment of business and functional requirements, analysis and documentation of business processes, workshop facilitation, test planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Actively involved in strategic planning including the analysis of business needs
• Design and definition of new processes
• Translation of business requirements into functional requirement specifications.
• Eliciting requirements using various techniques i.e. interviews, requirements workshops etc.
• Conducting walk-throughs of change initiatives with stakeholders, developers and testers ensuring that all have complete understanding
• Providing 2nd level support for all business systems users (Underwriting, Claims, Portal B2B Gateway) by analysing queries and issues raised and working with support team to resolve
• Delivery of assigned projects to agreed timeframes; to allocated budget, to agreed objectives and quality requirements
• Define and manage project scope
• Review Business Requirement Specification, Functional Requirement Specification, Test Plan and Test Cases from other Business Analysts and / or Testers
• Responsible for the analysing and documenting business, functional  requirements and business processes and test plans 

Qualifications – Required

• Business orientation with IT background or functional expertise
• Strong understanding of data modelling and entity-relationship modelling
• Solid experience in Structure Query Language (SQL)
• Demonstrated analytical ability and an inquisitive nature
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Strong Negotiation skills
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills
• Excellent commitment and ability to get things done
• Ability to work under pressure within tight timeframes, and with minimal supervision
• A relevant tertiary qualification
• Previous project management experience using agile methodologies
