A very exciting opportunity for a position at a leading global consulting firm. This cyber security team is looking for technically sound juniors to bring on board and show them how security works. You will be provided extensive training. A strong and demonstrated interest and ability in technology is required, however you do not need to have a background in security.
Required Skills
- Excellent communications skills
- An ability to think out of the box
- A want to grow you career and develop your skill set: such as examples of self-study, or pursuing technical projects and interests outside of your "day job"
Responsibilities will include:
- Technical analysis of security products including SIEMs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, end point security solutions, and Web proxies and network security devices.
- Penetration Testing
- Security Software Engineering
- Vulnerability analysis including triaging vulnerabilities and advising on associated remediation activities.
- Liaising with clients and building reports / recommendations regarding vulnerabilities
Highly regarded:
- Have / are working towards industry certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, CREST, CCNP, GIAC GPEN, CISSP, SABSA, etc.
- Experience working with security tools, ethical hacking practice or other security related practices from home study
