My client is a technology company developing real-world composite structures through world leading 3D manufacturing technologies and have solved the traditional limitation of the 3D printing industry – production at industrial scale. They are set to disrupt and transform mature industries on a global scale. This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join an emerging Perth-based technology company that is at the forefront of the global technology market.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Business Analyst who understands strategically what it takes to scale an organisation and then create the systems and processes as a platform for growth. We require a systems thinking approach where you are expected to understand the sum of the parts and how this impacts on the business. 

What you will be doing:

• Leading and growing a team with the co-founders

• Providing leadership and direction to the corporate services area

• Planning & managing corporate activities

• Lead the  design of new or re-engineered lean business systems & processes

• Identifying, evaluating and having a well-defined understanding of the high-level business needs of clients and stakeholders

• Maintaining and producing documentation for the development of future systems and processes
• Reviewing existing operations and devising plans to improve current work structures and systems
• Manage the planning, development and production of feasibility proposals and business cases for projects that will deliver improved service delivery across the business  
• Provide high quality reporting and insightful analysis to Executives
• Working with the Executive to create and align messages and be the single source of truth for all stakeholders

Essential Skills & Experience

• MBA qualified
• 5-10 yrs exp in a business analyst role or similar
• Well-developed analytic, problem solving and research skills coupled with the ability to question results and provide sound recommendations and advice to management
• Experience in writing product and market business cases
• QAQC ISO 9000 implementation experience
• Advanced skills and knowledge of Lean Business Process Systems
• Advanced document control and implementation experience
• Strong execution skills
• Strong schedule and project management skills. (JIRA, MS Project.)

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Exposure to manufacturing technology development

• Experience in Aerospace manufacturing

• Experience in scaling a business

• Dealing with the Defence industry
