My client is looking professionals with a proven track record working on the CAN(Customer access Network) With a background from Telstra/Service Stream/vision-stream/(ISGM/Tandem) Must also have a background  with ADSL/VDSL/fault finding/data cabling, must have own vehicle and tools and SOR is very very good.
  
They following is needed:-

• Copper jointing experience
• Pillar/pit and jointing experience.
• ADSL fault-finding and installation experience
• Working with Type-2 meters,
• Working with JDSU/VIAVI Meters.
• F-set (Tone generator.)meters
• Very high level of fault finding /diagnostic skills on the copper network.
• Exchange/Node jumping experience.
• Fixing faults like HR(High resistance/Foreign battery faults.)shorthand open circuit.
• Own vehicle and tools
• PTY Ltd company
• Public and product liability insurances,

Experience and qualifications needed:

• Hauling copper, mainframe terminations, cable rearrangements;
• Copper cable jointing, preparing cables for joint re-entry and new joint makes;
• VDSL(ADSL/VDSL) and NBN installations and faults
• Labelling, cut overs, fault finding and test equipment;
• Pre-provisioning, pillar and cabinet;
• Certificates II in Telecommunications (CAN), ICT20399, Certificates II & IV in
• Telecommunications ICT20197, ICT40397
• Solid understanding of telecommunication civil construction
• White Card; and Drivers License.
