You will lead and champion a highly motivated, dynamic and intelligent team. From the beginning you will take charge over a high-scaling backend written in Java, but with a sophisticated UI, largely coded in top quality JavaScript. Moreover, there are massive opportunities to also work across cutting edge cloud / AWS stacks.
As such, my client is seeking candidates with solid JS (Angular, React etc) or equivalent frameworks to build web and mobile applications it would be great. If not - you can learn it in their team.
My client are at the early-stages of the project. That means that your creativity and your responsibility is needed. They are also well financed which gives you long-term security and opportunities. My client have a great team of technical mentors who include experienced thought leaders of large international web companies and who will serve as sparring partners for your ideas.
The position is located in the heart of CBD of Melbourne.
Skills & Requirements:
- My client are looking for innovative and passionate programmers who will share there knowledge and high performance of Java, JavaScript, and Git, and projects you have done.
- You'll need to be comfortable developing on Mac, Linux or Windows. You should also not feel shy when it comes to the command line.
- Technology stack: Backend: Java (Spring and Hibernate mandatory), Play Framework, ElasticSearch; Frontend: JS, AngularJS, ReactJS, NodeJS, JQuery, Less, HTML5; Additional: Mobile, iOS, Android; DevOps. Database: PostgreSQL; General: Git, Mac, Linux, Windows, Amazon AWS.
