About the role
Senior Software Engineer (C++ STL TDD AWS Redshift node.js SQL Angular 6) will focus and need to have C++ projects in your most recent job creating and maintaining enterprise level software.
Senior Software Engineer (C++ STL TDD AWS Redshift node.js SQL Angular 6) will have pride in your work efforts, applying effective analysis, design, programming and testing skills to produce releasable customer focussed product iterations.
Senior Software Engineer (C++ STL TDD AWS Redshift node.js SQL Angular 6) will require:
- Bachelor level degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or similar.
- 4+ year’s professional software engineering experience in Agile/Scrum.
- Proficiency in Windows development using Visual Studio 2013 or later
- Experience in interfacing with Microsoft Ecosystem - Exchange, SQL Server, Active Directory, etc
- 4+ years’ experience in modern C++ using templates and STL, with a fair knowledge of the language specification, with emphasis on C++11
- Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms.
- Excellent understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments.
- Proven experience in developing software using TDD and test automation.
- Proficiency in at least one other language such as C#, JavaScript, Perl, or Python
Desirable skills
- Proficiency in Web development using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Programming in Linux/Unix environments.
- Proficiency with development tools like Jira, Confluence, SVN, Git, and Teamcity.
- Exposure to major databases systems like Postgresql, Sql Server, MongoDB,
- Exposure to programming in a distributed database environments like AWS Redshift.
- Relevant industry certifications.
- ITIL Foundations v3 certification.
