Communications Connect are a telecommunications fibre optic installation specialist. We are regarded in the industry for our high standard of service and all our staff have a strong sense of pride and professionalism in the work that they deliver. We have offices based in Victoria, Queensland, and have recently ventured into New South Wales. We partner with some of Australia's biggest companies on large scale infrastructure projects.

Due to major growth we are looking for a couple of experienced, outgoing and organised individuals for our splicing and testing team. Reporting to a Field Manager your duties will include live splicing works, dark fibre builds, OTDR / Insertion Loss testing, test result analysis / fibre workbooks and training future staff.

The successful candidates will have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in loose tube fibre splicing / testing and working on live customer joints
  • Experience in building Tyco and Corning enclosures
  • Must be able to work autonomously
  • Must be prepared to work as per customers specifications
  • Must have the skills and ability to train new staff
  • Strong work ethic and budget focused
  • Be a team player and responsible
  • Must be able to work away from home when required
  • Must be flexible with working hours. Days, nights and or weekends when required
  • Must have a current manual Australian Drivers Licence
