Role Snapshot
As the Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for executing the testing strategy, resulting in high quality web applications being delivered. The role will also translate business needs into well-defined acceptance criteria for delivery teams.
You will work closely with the agile development team to identify areas of risk and ensure there is sufficient testing coverage to ensure a high-quality result.
How you will contribute
Building technical testing frameworks that support the test strategy is a key component of the role, and you will also work on;
- Developing and executing automated tests for APIs and GUIs
- Provide feedback regarding existing quality issues and risks in our systems
- Identify and execute high value exploratory testing scenarios
- Participate in regular performance and evaluations reviews
- Mentor teams and team members around what is good testing
Our Ideal Person
We are looking for someone with sound experience as a quality analyst in software development/agile teams. Experience following TDD and BDD practices, along with strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Ruby, automated testing frameworks (such as Cucumber), testing tools (selenium) and databases. You will have the ability to effectively communicate your ideas, both verbally and written.
