We play an integral role in providing cellular coverage solutions nationally. Working with our partners across the property sector and the mobile carrier landscape we are accelerating the process of delivering cellular coverage removing many of the bottlenecks that exist today. Responding to the rapid growth in mobile data our solutions provide a robust technology road map whilst fulfilling the requirements of all stakeholders in the day to day management of the solution.

The Role

Responding to the rapid growth in mobile data our DAS Build team, consisting of Lead Technicians and Technicians, plays an integral role in the delivery of our nation-wide DAS program. In your role you will be responsible for ensuring each DAS is delivered in line with technical specifications and according to the approved design documentation. You will be required to use your DAS installation skills demonstrating an eye for detail and pride in the quality of your workmanship. As a team leader or team member your ability to work collaboratively with others is essential. The role will require extensive travel interstate and will involve a combination of day and night works.

Key Accountabilities will include

• Installation of DAS infrastructure including cable installations and related terminations according to committed timelines and technical requirements
• Performing cable and system test regime to validate system performance
• Lead Technician - Provide leadership to teams working to deliver each site utilising your build knowledge to troubleshoot issues whilst ensuring build quality is maintained.

About You

You will

• have 2-3 years of experience in deploying distributed antenna solutions including both active and passive solutions across multiple infrastructure environments utilising a variety of equipment vendor products.
• have installed, commissioned and integrated base-station equipment from multiple vendors
• have experience and/or certified to install equipment and components from Commscope, JMA, RFS, Huber & Schuner
• have field experience installing a range fibre, copper, coaxial cable types
• have experience performing and interpreting a range of Line sweep test procedures including VSWR, Return Loss, Distance to fault and cable loss.
• have experience performing Passive Intermodulation (PIM) Testing,
• have experience with Fibre splicing and OTDR testing
• capable of performing site acceptance activities including final testing, quality control and handover acceptance.
• (Lead Technician) have experience in leading and managing site based teams, driving accountability and managing to task and time deadlines as part of your project management skills is essential.
• be able demonstrate your communication skills including the ability to clearly articulate requirements to others and respond to feedback.
• possess a ‘hands-on’ approach to leadership and be willing to set the expectation levels in terms of quality and performance and manage accordingly.
• have resource estimation capabilities utilising you field and technical knowledge to support the commercial process.
• be proficient in most Microsoft Applications. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project.

Remuneration

You will receive a remuneration package commensurate with your experience.
