  • Early July start
  • 3 months' contract + extensions
  • Melbourne CBD location

Role and Responsibilities:

  • To provide Level 1 technical support to internal staff via phone, email and face-to-face
  • To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles.
  • To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.
  • To log all calls on the Service Desk logging system.
  • Respond to enquiries from clients and help them resolve any hardware or software problems.
  • Maintain a log of any software or hardware problems detected.
  • Support users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice.
  • To allocate more complex calls to the relevant IT Support member.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 1-2 years IT Support experience via phone, email and face-to-face
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Experience working in large organisation/environment is preferred
  • Strong all round knowledge of Windows 7-10, Office 365, Citrix and VLAN knowledge useful
  • Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL methodology
