Responsible for managing the Australian Sales team and achieving the revenue and sales targets set for that team and for establishing and implementing our client's national sales strategy.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy in accordance with the company’s global sales and marketing plan.
  • Achieving national objectives for sales, revenue, growth, churn and customer satisfaction.
  • Managing the sales team and all sales activities within the company.
  • Setting sales targets and activity key performance indicators.
  • Senior level engagement and demonstrated thought leadership with customers.
  • Promoting the company profile, product and solutions capability.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities with customers across the portfolio.
  • Optimise 3rd party and channel performance and coverage.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to sales team and ensure pipeline management is sufficient to achieve sales targets.
  • Ensuring individuals are meeting targets and monitor progress against sales KPIs. Manage under performance.
  • Motivating staff and leading the team to exceed sales objectives.
  • Build strong sales capability and recruit into the sales team.
  • Cross company liaison in support of the sales effort.
  • Carrying out sales training with sales executives to build a high performing sales team.
  • Ensuring all administration, governance and compliance with company business rules and processes is completed effectively.

Required skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales team management/leadership.
  • Demonstrated business success in delivering Sales outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster senior level relationships internally and externally.
  • Proven ability in strategic and people leadership.
  • Product management of software/platform enterprise products knowledge.
  • Relevant industry experience and product market knowledge.
  • Disciplined approach with a drive to succeed and a passion for sales.
  • Target orientated and highly motivated individual.
  • High level of senior Customer engagement and contact (ideally at the C level)

Required Qualifications:

  • Tertiary degree in related field
