About the role
You will be asked to design and deliver amazing web applications.
Your role will be to help define and deliver rich user experiences that help our clients run their complex operations.
· Collaborate with clients to establish requirements e.g. through design workshops.
· Producing design artifacts (e.g. screen mock-ups).
· Implementing web apps with HTML, CSS and ES6-based Javascript frameworks as part of the project delivery team.
· Creating and maintaining internal libraries inspired by real world scenarios.
Experience:
The successful applicant will ideally have a tertiary qualification, and/or a couple of years’ experience in commercial software development, with experience using the Redux and React frameworks.
Target Skills - as much of the following as possible:
Development:
· Knowledge of modern web standards, Javascript (ES6 mandatory), HTML, CSS (essential).
· Experience with frameworks, Redux/React (mandatory), AngularJS/Angular (advantageous), SCSS.
· NPM, Webpack (most desirable), Grunt / Gulp.
· Some Python is advantageous.
· DVCS (Git, Mercurial).
Design:
· Proven eye for delivering polished UX and UI design, (advantageous)
· Sketch, Craft, Photoshop, paper prototyping. (advantageous)
Process:
· Agile Software Development - rapid iterations and incorporation of user feedback on features
· Requirements gathering esp. via Lean Design principals & user stories
· Client and internal team communication skills
· Occasional opportunities for Interstate Travel collaborate with users on site
