Work for this well-known Victorian authority as a Senior Project / Program Manager and effectively manage, execute and report on project/s, and coach Project Managers, for an enterprise-wide transformation program of Work with a focus on digital optimisation and solutions, 

Key accountabilities:

• Resource management including internal service providers and external vendors 
• Full responsibility for the definition, documentation, and satisfactory delivery of one or more large complex project/s
• Initiate, develop and maintain strong and effective internal and external networks 
• Identify, assess, and manage the risks to the success of the project including dependencies across projects, political, business impact, market impact, and technical complexity
• Ensure realistic project, budget, schedule, risk/issue, quality, change, communications and training plans are prepared and maintained while providing regular and accurate updates 
• Provide effective leadership to the project team and take appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances

Skills and experience 

• Experience managing large and / or multiple projects concurrently, within large and complex organisations
• Previous experience working on strategic, transformation Programs with a focus on Digital Optimisation & Solutions 
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor other PM's
• High competency in scheduling & dependency mapping
• Proven experience in successful budget responsibility for projects
• SDLC experience and technical exposure to Agile / Waterfall methodologies
