Working for a State Government organisation, this Senior Business Analyst opportunity will focus across a number of large, high-profile project initiatives.
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be leading the analysis, transformation and ultimately resolving the business problems with the help of technology and making recommendations on the technology solutions including the use of technology architecture, tools, or software application.
As an integral part of this project, your responsibilities will include:
- Eliciting and documenting business requirements using a variety of business analysis techniques
- Interpret business needs and translate those into functional and non-functional requirements
- Negotiate and influence business users to drive efficiency
- Develop and maintain standards for delivery of business analysis function using ICT industry best practices
Analysing, designing, planning, documenting "as is" and "to be" business processes - Identify risk and inconsistencies
- Facilitate workshops, produce business process documentation (in BPMN)
To be successful in this role, you will need proven experience in:
- Comprehensive and contemporary knowledge various Project Management Methodology
- Extensive experience within large-scale ICT projects with strong skills in the development of requirements and specifications
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to conceptualise broader business issues, structures and operations
- Understanding of governance frameworks
