J2EE Java Developer

 
Overview:

The J2EE Java Developer sits within the Enterprise Systems Business Unit, responsible for the development and support of various business applications and to deliver improvements and enhancements.
Key relationships will be the Tech lead and Team lead plus interacting with business.

    • Team size/structure –8,  Developers/Tech lead/Teamlead
    • Location: Parramatta
    • 6 months, potential to extend 

The JEE Java Developer will be responsible for:

•             Designing, Developing and maintaining IT applications to support the business objectives.

•             Substantial (5+ years) experience in designing, developing and maintaining large, complex, mission-critical applications in the JEE / Relational Database / SOA environment.

 Experience Required:

- JEE 6/7/8- JSP, JSF, servlets, EJB, JMS
- Experience in prime faces
- Experience in JavaScript frameworks –JQuery, Angular js
- Experience in struts, spring frameworks
- Experience in  XML, XSLT, JAXB, web services- RESTFUL, JAX-RPC
- Experience in CSS and HTML
- Experience in Hibernate, JPA
- Experience in JBOSS 6/7
- Database -ORACLE- Experience in writing SQL, procedures, Functions
- Testing-Experience in Junit, mock-up testing
- Experience with Agile and/or Iterative methodologies;
- Excellent skills in planning and  prioritising projects and tasks, delivering with a high attention to detail while working under pressure to tight deadlines
- Experience in working with government agencies
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to organisational quality management and SDLC processes;
- Experience in developing systems that comply with Usability best practices and WCAG 2.0AA Accessibility requirements
- Experience in testing application accessibility features - desirable
- Experience in data analytics and techniques
- Desirable Skills – Jboss 7 / Data analytics
- Government experience preferred
