Role Purpose

To support all applications used within the Spotlight and Anaconda businesses and therefore assist users with any queries and or changes as requested

Responsibilities

  • Perform 2nd Level Software Support
  • Deliver a quality solution by the required date
  • Problem resolution in accordance with the respective SLA
  • Escalation of resolution to next level support or third party
  • Liaising with users to obtain specific details about a problem or request 
  • Assist with technical solution design
  • Provide quality documentation (including test cases, technical specifications and user/admin guides)
  • Thorough testing for all system changes or resolutions (including unit, integration, regression and performance testing)
  • Support users during UAT
  • One-on-one system training with users when required
  • Call administration: Maintain an up-to-date status of a logged issue/request
  • Test data preparation
  • Application configuration
  • Data reconciliation
  • Mentor junior team members as requested by your manager
  • After hours support on a rotational basis

 

Selection Criteria

  • A few years experience in IT business analysis including the development, implementation and ongoing operation of solutions
  • SAP IS Retail experience, in particular Retail Master Data
  • SAP MM/SD/LE experience
  • Good understanding of retail operational processes and experience capturing and documenting business requirements
  • Experience with the configuration of applications utilised by the specific business process
  • Experience in the delivery of IT solutions via internal development or third party development and package implementation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to articulate ideas, challenge thinking and influence outcomes within the business function
  • Strong customer-service orientation
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
