This is a unique opportunity for Wireless Telecommunications Riggers to work with a Global Infrastructure Specialist who provides design and construction services of mission critical infrastructure for major clients not only in Telecommunications but also in other industries in Australia. You will have exposure to diverse and interesting projects and you will have opportunities to grow your career.

About the role

• Installing telecommunications cables and equipment
• Installing, relocating and removing tower mounted equipment
• Working at heights on a range of telecommunications structures including poles, towers and masts to install antennas, feeders and ancillary equipment
• Erecting and fixing steel structures to facilitate the installation of telecommunications equipment
• Terminating telecommunications cables of various types and sizes
• Testing cables for compliance with specifications
• Working with cranes, cherry pickers and EWP's as required carrying out works on site
• Conducting site audits

About the role

• Hands-on experience in telecommunications rigging
• Intermediate to advanced rigging certification
• EWP Ticket (preferable)
• Construction industry white card
• Working at Heights certification
• Tower rescue certification
• First aid training including CPR
• RF awareness certification
• Good communications skills both written and verbal
• Experience with Telstra, Optus and/or VHA installations standards
• Transmission and Microwave experience is a bonus
• Proven knowledge of safe working practices
• Open to travel interstate when it’s required
• Current drivers licence
• Australian Residency
