Our long-established client provides high-level ICT support and services to a diverse industry range, supporting clients located in South Australia, interstate and globally via on-site and managed service environments.

Sustained expansion has resulted in an exciting opportunity to join our client in the newly created role of Technical Operations Manager.  Leading the Engineering and Helpdesk Teams, you will provide guidance and support to your team members as they provide ICT services and support to the organisation’s diverse client-base, exceeding the expectations of clients through the quality of customer service, meeting client needs and via the provision of value-added services. 

Reporting directly to the primary stakeholders, working collaboratively with the Sales and Administration Teams will also be key to your success in this role.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong ICT background
  • Proven record of analysing business and technical specifications, and driving projects to completion
  • A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a senior technical operations / service delivery management role
  • Tertiary management qualifications (or equivalent experience)
  • Operational experience of delivery service management methodologies
  • A technical aptitude and be commercially astute
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Proven CRM capabilities
  • Ability to work through roadblocks and provide solutions
  • Strong organisational, planning, leadership and management skills, applied with a confident and professional manner
  • Staff recruitment, review, mentoring and development capabilities
  • Ability to quickly comprehend a range of diverse client environments and industry sectors
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) with professional presentation skills
  • Excellent soft skills, including conflict resolution, influence and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to motivate and empower people, and facilitate a positive work environment
  • Comfortable with actively coaching, mentoring and giving feedback, as well as receiving and acting upon feedback from others
  • Ability to develop and implement enhanced technical processes and delivery methodologies to improve client outcomes and overall satisfaction
