Talent International is currently looking for a Project Assurance Officer on a 6-month contracting basis. The Project Assurance Officer will be responsible for providing assurance services in relation to the program of work as a part of the Business Transformation:
 

• Tertiary Qualifications in Commerce or Account preferred
• 6-month contract opportunity
• Experience in finance and commercial operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development and implementation of Project Assurance for Strategic Projects.
• Assist with maintaining and updating the Project Assurance Plan for strategic projects incorporating a standards-aligned assurance methodology.
• Maintain organisation-wide standards (including Procedures, Work Instructions and Enablers) with which to implement the Project Assurance Strategy as an essential part of the project management framework.
• Deliver a program of assurance activities (such as stage gate reviews, health checks and readiness reviews) to assess compliance of all projects to the project management framework

Skills/ Qualifications:  

• Tertiary qualifications in commerce, accounting, audit or similar.
• Extensive knowledge in finance, commercial operations, assurance, risk and project management.
• 4 years' + experience in project or financial accounting.
• Understanding of project management principals.
• Experience working in a regulated Utility environment with an understanding of its structure and operations is an asset.
