What we are looking for    
  
A lead big data architect/solution designer to join our team and work alongside one of our blue chip clients. You will assist in defining the architecture & road map of Big data, BI & analytics platforms for one of Australia's most well known brands.
  
Essential skills/ experience required for this opportunity: 

• Experience defining Big data environments
• 3+ Years Big data architecture/Solution design experience
• Hands on development background in one or more of the following Java, Python or scala etc
• Extensive experience working with Hadoop
• Experience/knowledge of one or more of the following Spark, MapReduce, Kafka, Informatica BDM, NoSQL etc
• Strong stake holder engagement/ management experience (Ability to persuade and influence)
• Ability to recommend big data technologies & reasons why they are most suited
• Full end 2 end delivery & implementation of big data projects
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills  
• Experience working with Google Cloud - Highly desirable
