CSG Talent have been engaged on a SAP Analyst 6 month contract that represents fantastic career potential with possible extensions.

The SAP Analyst Waste Front Office is the key support analyst for the Waste Industrial Services (IS), Refractories and Collection Services businesses for all business processes using the ISU-Waste solution (SD/MM, W&R and PM). That responsibility extends to support of existing systems as well as working with the design team on enhancements & projects, where applicable.


ROLE PURPOSE

• Provide relevant system and business information, to ensure that proposed system changes are fully analysed and evaluated for their benefits and costs
• Provide 2nd/3rd level support for the business.
• Meet with user groups to gather, understand and analyse end user requirements
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of business processes, strategies and systems
• Analyse operational activities and present recommendations for improvement
• Propose solutions that will bring about high quality system solutions to meet business goals.
• Ensure delivery is timely, cost effective and inline with IT and business strategy.
• Plan and conduct unit, systems and integration testing and user training plans that ensure the quality of the product as well as its smooth execution
• Build relationships with users, technical staff and management to determine and resolve issues associated with systems implementation.
• Analyse and document requirements for Enhancements or Projects.
• End-to-end delivery of Enhancements ensuring completion of key deliverables and sign offs.
• Prepare material and providing training and assistance to end-users following implementation.
• Prepare solution support and handover documentation and ensure knowledge is transferred to support team post implementation
• Ensure the communication and solution delivery to the business is professional and of the highest standard.

Qualifications / Experience:

• Over 10 years hands-on experience in SAP SD/MM modules in SAP R/3 with strong configuration skills
• Working knowledge of SAP PM and CS
• Tertiary qualifications in Business Management or Computer Science

  
Skills and Attributes:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong technical SAP skills, preference will be given to experience of SAP ISU-Waste
• Integration experience with other SAP modules such as SAP FICA/FICO
• Data Flow Analysis, Database Design, Business Analysis
• Excellent communication skills
• Facilitate and present at workshops.
• Highly experienced in stakeholder management at multiple levels of the business (End User to Executive)
• Team focused and dedication to customer service
• Strong understanding of business needs and customer focus beyond the technical/technology aspects
• Results-oriented and ability to work to deadlines
• Ability to analyse the root cause of issues and work with development and design teams to build and test

  
Other relevant skills or information:

• Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA is desirable
• Self-managing and prioritising of business queries and issues
• Experience in logistics or waste industries is desirable
• Keen interest in innovation and developing solutions
