You love software development and learning about latest technologies, however you instinctively know when to drop the quest for perfection due to commercial realities. You are flexible in how you work and can listen to colleagues and respect other people's ideas. You love to find better ways of doing things and are a natural problem solver. You can find your way around Linux environments with ease. PHP and JavaScript are your forte.
What We Need
We are seeking an experienced full stack developer who can join our team and work on our existing web based applications and mobile/native versions. From the start you will become an integral part of our team.
You will be writing code on various applications and platforms that will involve PHP and JavaScript programming. You will be faced with large technical challenges. You will need to have a sound understanding of web application architecture, security and scalability.
To be considered for this role you must possess the following skills/experience:
- Minimum 4 years PHP experience
- Advanced skills in JavaScript, including ES6 features
- Solid understanding of frontend frameworks such as React/Vue.js
- Advanced skills in frontend development - HTML/CSS
- Solid experience working with Laravel/PHP framework
- Experience with React Native or ability to learn quickly
- Flawless communication skills (verbal and written) in English are essential
- Strong attention to detail
You will also be working with the following technologies, so whilst not essential, they will be highly regarded:
- Git/JIRA/Bamboo/Bitbucket
- Vue.js, React, jQuery, Node.js, Bootstrap frameworks
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Objective-C/Swift/Java (iOS/Android) application development
