Global Chief Technology Officer, Open to Location

A leader in worldwide software networking is looking for a Global CTO to support impressive company growth, lead the development of their market pioneering products and to build geographically diverse teams of highly skilled network and software engineers. The company has experienced phenomenal growth and needs a CTO to help steer the company as it expands into new markets with new product offerings. True to their global nature they are open to applicants currently in or prepared to move to major capital cities across the US, EMEA or APAC.

The Role

Working closely with the Executive team, the CTO will grow the company's technological development and resources. This is a high-visibility position requiring a talented, well-spoken visionary to interface with media, analysts, investors, partners, and customers.

The right candidate will have demonstrated success in technology roles positioning them to truly understand the intersection of software and networking in order to define a long-term, disruptive, and innovative technology and product vision that keeps this company ahead of the industry curve.

Requirements

Formal qualifications and extensive experience in Information Technology demonstrating a successful history of growth in positions involving IT strategy and management, IT transformations, cloud architecture, and data networking.
Passionate about technology and using technology to solve problems.
Thought leader in technology strategy, enterprise architecture, cloud service, and solution design.
Demonstrable and successful experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principals.
Proven ability to drive businesses through people and technology.
Proven communication and relationship-building skills with employees, management teams, and customers along with the ability to deal with different personalities.
Proven experience with building and managing high-performing teams along with the ability to actively communicate, inspire and motivate staff at all levels.
Expert-level executive presence and external-facing communications skills.
Previous experience in a global role managing disperse teams across multiple regions.
