About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Delivery Manager to augment our banking client’s project. Based on our client’s site in Melbourne CBD you will help drive effectiveness in value and quality of infrastructure deliverable across a range of large and complex projects.

 Duties 

• Lead the Infrastructure delivery for one or more complex projects, be the primary point of contact for project and program managers requiring the delivery of infrastructure 
• Be the primary point of contact and governance for our client’s infrastructure delivery partners for required project deliverables.
• Manage the escalation of significant issues relating to delivery which are not resolvable at the project level or where prioritisation decisions may be required.
• Provision of leadership and direction for a group of Infrastructure Delivery Managers including line management responsibility for those who are directly working for them
• Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements 

Skills & Experience

To successfully deliver this project you will need:

• Track record of delivering infrastructure (virtualised and physical)
• Understanding of technologies used by the company supporting infrastructure delivery (VMWare, virtual storage, NAS, Tivoli monitoring, Netbackup, F5 Load Balancing, Switching, Cloud (AWS))
• Ability to manage vendors to meet Project quality and schedule requirements
• Strong financial management and knowledge of standard project costing and estimating methods
• Strong project scheduling skills
• Attention to detail and focus on inspecting and validating deliverables
• Motivator of matrix based resource groups
• Attitude of a constructive and positive problem solver
