Sundata is currently seeking a Sr. Java Developer with Spring Boot Experience for one of its Banking clients for a project in Brisbane.

Location: Brisbane

Client: Banking

Technical skills required:

• Strong and extensive Java with spring framework knowledge
• Good experience with Spring Boot is required.
• Strong understanding of best practice standards and design patterns
• Proficient in designing, developing and integrating with REST APIs (JSON format)
• Experience with test automation
• Knowledge and experience with CI/CD practices and processes
• Knowledge and experience with Agile Development practices (BDD, TDD, Pair Programming)
• Familiarity with Cloud technology (e.g. AWS) and Infrastructure Automation technologies (e.g. Ansible)
• Experience with developer tools (e.g. Gradle, IntelliJ IDEA)
• Experience with messaging technologies
• Experience in providing technical mentoring and support
• Experience supporting high availability production systems is highly desirable
• Experience in Financial domain is desirable (Bank, Insurance, Payments etc)
• Excellent communication skills
• Coordination and influencing ability
• Ability to work in a collaborative and distributed Agile environment with minimal direction and supervision
• Ability to work in a flexible environment and be adaptable to change
