Up to $750 per day based in Sydney CBD
About the Job
With over 1000+ staff nationally, you will join an established IT Security Practice throughout an exciting security transformation. This environment includes Perimeter, monitoring, vulnerability, penetration testing, SSL certification, authentication, SIEM and operations. The Senior Security Engineert is responsible for working across the key areas of the security environment providing operations and project delivery. This role requires someone with a high level of IT Security knowledge across a wide range of technologies with a deep understanding and awareness of potential IT security threats that businesses across Australia must protect themselves from.
Responsibilities
- Leading the implementation and delivery of IT Security services and solutions.
- Managing SSL Certification and authentication
- Report management considering risk and vulnerabilities.
- Work with services team to identify and implement security enhancements and upgrades.
- Coordinating, developing, and evaluating security programs.
- Perofrming Seucirtty Audits, Vulenrability Assessments and Penetrations testing services.
- Identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations.
- Performing analysing, designing, and developing security features for system architectures.
Professional Experience / Qualifications:
- Security Operations and Incident Management
- PCI Compliance and Audits
- Vunerability Assessments
- Penetration Testing
- SSL Certification and authentication
- Email gateways - SMTP, SPAM protection, Malware protection and content filtering
- Knowledge of information security and best practices, including the ability to manage and develop the delivery of IT security in a complex and dynamic business environment
- CISSP certification would be desirable
