An initial 6 month contract for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a NSW Government agency for a large business transition program.
The successful Senior Project Manager will demonstrate a strong background in previously transitioning from an in-house model to an outsource model or an outsource model to an in-house model.
Reporting to Senior Management you will also demonstrate strong experience in building and maturing IT operations.
This role will be based in Sydney's CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Senior Project Manager you will:
- Lead and drive project team
- Work with external and internal stakeholders
- Influence and communicate with Senior Management and Executives
- Drive the clarity around maturing processes
- Engage and manage with existing partner and new partners
- Lead and direct major projects within the transition and transformation space
- Provide accurate reporting to Senior Management
- Provide recommendations to any emerging issues
Key Requirements:
As the Senior Project Manager you will have:
- Previous experience in transitioning from an in-house model to an outsource model or an outsource model to an in-house model
- Previous experience in building and maturing IT Operations
- Previous experience in a large complex environment (banking/Finance/insurance/Telecommunications etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
