Our Government client is seeking a number of Incident Coordinators for contract roles until June 2019. In this interested and varied position working under the direction of a fantastic Incident Manager, you will be expected:

  • to manage incoming incidents via the ticketing system
  • quickly understand the severity of the situation
  • gather information, involve and liaise with the relevant stakeholders (internal and external)
  • coordinate and control Incident Management meetings (often with numerous people dialling in so you will need to take charge!)
  • keep team members informed of progress
  • run the process end to end, ensuring the incident is managed effectively.

Ideally you have experience in Incident Coordination or Management, that or you have worked in a Project, Technical Support or Service Desk role that involves a high level of coordination, investigations, escalations and process management. A dynamic and resilient operator, you have AMAZING time management skills and are adept at managing stakeholders’ expectations. You are an engaging communicator, process oriented, with a high attention to detail and confidence in self.

Some knowledge of the ITIL framework (either a certification or work experience) would be useful, however they are happy to train you up. The team works on a 24/7 rotating roster and they use an ‘incident phone’ so that you can be ‘on call’ from home (so it’s very flexible).

Only Australian Citizens will be considered; a Baseline Security clearance (or above) is preferred.
