We currently have a vacancy for an experienced IT Manager to join our team based in Melbourne. In this role you will be responsible for a team of four and the IT operations within the ASSA ABLOY Australia Group, which includes ASSA ABLOY Australia and Pyropanel Developments. This role reports to the Financial Controller – Australia Group.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Management of the IT team which incorporates the Service Desk for Australia, Business Analysts, Solutions Developers and local site infrastructure support
- IT Project management that includes the initial scope, through to final delivery to the organisation
- Infrastructure and Cyber Security Management
- IT and Business Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan
- Vendor management
- Delivery and continuous improvement of IT Support services to all internal customers
To be successful within this role it is essential that you possess the following key skills and attributes:
- Tertiary qualified preferred and/or previous experience in the IT industry
- Demonstrated experience managing small teams, including preparation and management of budgets
- Experience aligning IT objectives with business needs
- Advanced knowledge of technical management in an ITIL environment
- Proficient in data management and governance
- Hands-on experience with server, system and network design and administration, with particular emphasis in the following technologies: MS Windows Server and Virtualisation / VOIP systems/ SQL
- ERP and CRM systems such as MS Dynamics would be well regarded
- Excellent communication (written and spoken) skills
