The Service Desk Engineer will deliver a high level of service and contribute to the smooth running of operations. You will be involved in incident investigation, monitoring and resolution via phone and email.


To be successful in this role you will need to have superior customer service skills and will also have experience in a large scale Help Desk environment.  You must also have excellent technical and investigative skills for effective troubleshooting. 

 

Technical Skill:

  • Excellent knowledge of:  Desktop Technical Support, Microsoft Office Suite inc. MS Outlook, MS Exchange
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a customer focused support role
  • Demonstrated advanced trouble shooting and incident analysis skills
  • Experience using an ITIL compliant call logging tool such as Remedy, Heat, HP/Open view or similar
  • Ensure familiarity with and adherence to core ITIL Processes (e.g. Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management), with regard to the delivery of IT services to the client’s businesses.
