Located in Adelaide, a unique opportunity has arisen for a Project Control Analyst to join our Project Management office and support our key premium government client. Primarily, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, controlling, and reporting on project progress as well as project status from a financial perspective. In addition, you will be responsible for the delivery of analytical expertise with the objective of improving project performance and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in applying and maintaining program/project management standards through a strong governance model to ensure quality of deliverables and compliance
- Implementation and management of weekly control cycle and program governance calendar
- Maintain and manage:
- program issues and risk database
- program variation register
- program deliverable acceptance certificates and register
- document repository for all formal program documentation
- Assist in management reporting including the weekly customer and internal management program status reporting
- End to end visibility and tracking of all program requirements and activities
- Perform Secretariat functions for Program and Executive meetings
- Provide financial management expertise to project managers. This might include training, problem resolution, analysis
- Interface with contacts in Finance to ensure that there is communication between Finance and the Program team
To be considered for this role, you must hold the following key skills & experience:
- Demonstrated experience working in program management office supporting large programs with multiple projects and project managers.
- Previous experience in project financial management and reporting for large programs.
- Experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong administrative and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent Interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong Organisational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Team player who is very proactive
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
- A good understanding of Project Management Principles
